About Pastor Colin Landry and Family
Colin and Tonia Landry moved to Boston in December, 2005 from Denver, CO, where Colin was an associate pastor in Tri-City Baptist Church. Colin is a native of Colorado, and Tonia hails from Hamburg, Germany.
The Landrys moved to Boston because they were concerned for the needy field of New England, because they like college students and Bostonian bluntness, and because of Mike’s Pastries.
Colin holds a BA in Bible; he received a Masters of Divinity from Central Baptist Theological Seminary East. Tonia holds a Masters degree in Cinema and Video Production.
The Landrys have three boys (Benjamin, Kai, and Paul) and one girl (Tess).

About Our Deacons
John Lahoud
John and Helga Lahoud live in North Andover. John is a native of the area, having been born in nearby Lawrence, while Helga immigrated to the U.S. from Weisbaden, Germany. They came to Evangelical Baptist Church in the great migration of the International Baptist Church of Boston to Newton, one of the events which will no doubt be featured in future volumes of church history.
John holds a BS in Health and Physical Education and an MS in Mathematics, and currently teaches mathematics at UMass Lowell. Helga works as an administrative clerk at the U.S. Postal Service Vehicle Maintenance Facility in Lynn.
Steven Schoeffler
Steven grew up in upstate New York with his parents and two younger brothers. He moved to Massachusetts 5 years ago for computer work and currently works as a systems administrator. He enjoys the Boston area because he gets to meet college students from around the world and learn about their different customs, cultures, and food. In church, he plays the piano, and helps with the children’s ministries.
In his free time he can be found playing basketball and football, skiing, hiking, and going to Celtics games. He enjoys classical music, concerts and learning new music on the piano.
Steven likes I Samuel 12:24 which reads, “ Only fear the LORD and serve Him in truth with all your heart; for consider what great things He has done for you.”
